About me: I’m female, age 50+, married, with two dogs, two sisters, two stepkids, two grown sons, and two granddaughters. Since I’ve gotten older, I read mostly fantasy and sci-fi. Some of my favorite authors are Robin Hobb, Orson Scott Card, Jack London, Robert A. Heinlein, and Shakespeare.
The following quote, sadly, summarizes how I write.
“I spent all morning putting in a comma and all afternoon taking it out.” -Oscar Wilde

Love the quote. Some days I write two sentence and spend the next two weeks rearranging the same 25 words.

Maddening, isn’t it?

Great choice of quote! It’s the dilemma that plagues all writers, I think, to use or not to use the comma lol.

Yes. I’m doing that right now, cutting a 700 word story to 300. Lots of decisions! Thanks for visiting. 🙂

Good luck! Editing is one of the hardest parts, but I think the story always benefits in the end 🙂
Looking forward to reading more of your work!

…I see from your bio that you’re married – I trust that you keep your husband on sufficient tenterhooks at all times!

Consider him sufficiently tenterhooked! You might say we never have dull conversations.
